The ability to speak with 100% confidence and ZERO shame about your skills, your accomplishments, and your mission is more important than ever - but the idea of "bragging" has a lot of baggage attached. How can you advocate for yourself - in an interview, on the campaign trail, while pitching for funding, when asking for a promotion, or at a networking event - without feeling like a jerk?

On May 22nd, we're going to toast our badass clients, introduce them to each other (because let's face it, you NEED TO KNOW THESE WOMEN), and give you some serious bragging practice.

WHEN: May 22, 6:30-9:00

  • 6:30-7:15 Networking, eats, cocktails

  • 7:15-8:00 Brag Workshop

  • 8:00-9:00 More partying!

Primary FiDi Networking Luncheon

Screen Shot 2019-05-20 at 11.23.32 AM.png

Our signature event: meet and collaborate with other Primary members in this interactive and stimulating space - food included! All attendees will have a chance to introduce themselves and their business, followed by a  brief segment from a featured speaker and a wellness session. To keep the event to one hour, we will only be taking one representative from each company.

This month's featured speaker is Giuseppe Salamone, CEO/Founder of member company Say Bookkeeping. He will be discussing how whether it’s your business or your personal finances, worries about money are usually at the major cause of anxiety for most people. In a brief talk, Giuseppe will share a general guide of a true path to financial stability.
Say Bookkeeping is a fast-growing bookkeeping and accounting firm headquartered in Miami Beach with offices in New York City, and clients nationwide. Giuseppe’s love of bookkeeping is fueled by a passion for logic. He has always found joy in changing chaos into cleanliness and confusion into clarity.

Primary Wellness Ambassador Kristina Headrick will guide a short meditation to center us for our networking luncheon. Experience for yourself why you should take short breaks to meditate during the workday, as meditation has the power to help you feel better and much more alert than a cup of coffee!  It will also help you work more efficiently and have more patience with your co-workers.

Meditation & Tacos

The story goes that one day when she was feeling quite sad, a girl named Kristina decided she ought to meditate in the park. Afterward, she felt hungry, and so she ate tacos. At some point on this fated afternoon, she noticed her sadness had dissipated entirely. Upon experiencing the transformative powers of meditation followed by eating tacos, she decided she had to share this experience with the world. And so, the gathering known as Meditation & Tacos was born. It may not be enlightenment, but it's definitely not suffering, either.

Shamanic Sound Healing and Meditation

Shamanic Sound Healing and Meditation

Join ONEIntegration and shift your body and mind down into deep meditative relaxation led by Luz Flaneuse, sound healing practitioner.

Tuning forks, harmonicas, bells, singing bowls, gongs, chimes, medicine drums, rattles, mantras and sacred chants create a rich tapestry of ceremonial sounds, in combination with guided meditation, breathwork and group chanting, in which participants can attain a greater sense of self awareness, healing and inner peace.

Researchers have found that sound waves can reduce blood pressure as well as enhance sleep and memory. Binaural tones played simultaneously that are close in pitch but not identical can be found in a sound bath session. Studies show these sounds can reduce anxiety and enhance mood states.

Luz will lead a guided meditation and breathwork followed by the sound journey. Blindfolds will be provided for those who wish to go deeper into the experience.

ABOUT LUZ FLANEUSE

With over 20 years of experience as a sound healer, Luz draws inspiration from Brazilian, African, Indian, and indigenous music and folklore. A registered kundalini yoga teacher (RYT-200), Luz has studied Kundalini’s tradition of the naad, or sound current, and its applications in healing and meditation. She is a singer of Umbandapontos, the sacred songs used in the Afro-indigenous spiritist tradition of Brazil, singing those songs in sacred Umbanda ceremonies to move and transform energy. Luz has extensively studied traditional drumming and singing from India, Ghana and Brazil in addition to providing sound healing in a variety of contexts including retreats, meditation centers, schools, addiction treatmentfacilities, and hospice care.
