The essential responsibilities of the Primary Porter involve the upkeep of the physical facilities in order to maintain and exceed our Member and guest experience within the community. The Porter fulfills any other duties the Lead Luminary and Assistant Luminary assigns and represents Primary in a professional manner.
Specific Duties (include though not limited to):
Maintain daily cleanliness of all common areas - examples include but are not limited to: kitchen, studio, locker room, bicycle storage, conference rooms, etc.
Perform special projects such as deep cleaning, high cleaning, floor care
Dust, polish, and straighten furnishings within public areas.
Continuously monitor public areas and building entrances - removal of litter, mop spillage, emptying of trash receptacles
Inspect all public lavatories for cleanliness and supply/toiletry replenishment
Lift and move equipment and furniture as requested
Manage supply inventory and restocking as needed
Perform basic handyman services throughout Primary’s facility, from painting to minor repairs
Assist with various physical tasks including preparing new offices for member move-in and move-out
Assist with other "make-ready" duties for Primary daily activities and periodic events
Distribute mail and/or packages as requested by the Lead Luminary
- May work special events, as needed
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed
Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule as needed during the Monday to Friday work week

Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to communicate with the building's maintenance or engineering personnel as needed
Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Must be able to communicate with members and staff in English
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
